தமிழ் மக்களாகிய நாம், நமது தமிழ் மொழி, மரபு, அடையாளம் ஆகியவற்றில் பெருமிதம் கொள்கின்றோம்; அத்துடன் நாம் உறுதியாகவும் ஒற்றுமையாகவும் நிலைநிற்க வேண்டும்.
தமிழ் என்பது மொழி மட்டும் அல்ல, அது பண்பட்ட நாகரிகம்; மேலும் வரலாற்றுவழியே தமிழ்நாடும் தமிழீழமும் தன்னாட்சி உரிமையும் இறையாண்மையும் கொண்ட நாடுகள் ஆகும்.
கல்வி, பண்பாட்டுப் பரிமாற்றம், கூட்டுச்செயல் வழியாகப் பன்னாட்டுப் பிணைப்புடன் கூடிய வலிமையான தமிழ் இனத்தை உருவாக்க வட அமெரிக்கத் தமிழ்த்தேசியக் கூட்டமைப்பு முயல்கிறது. இது பரந்த அன்பு, அடையாளம், இரக்கம், பண்பாட்டுப் பாதுகாப்பின் வழி செழித்து வளர்கிறது.
